Brian Rafferty

With a career that spans over two decades in Financial Services, I have diverse experience and wide knowledge in financial planning.

I work closely with clients in all aspects of financial planning advice including advising sole traders, limited companies and all other areas of personal wealth. I also specialise in providing strategic advice to the public sector and advising on local authority pension schemes. I travel all over the country, meeting with clients and businesses and helping them through life’s journey.

I am also responsible for leading the team and the strategic direction of the business. People and communication are important and that’s why it is our business to place our people and clients at the centre of everything we do, cutting through the jargon and making their experience with Blythswood Associates an exceptional one.

Outside of work, I am a husband and busy father to three young boys. A keen golfer and interest in football also ensures that I maintain a good work-life balance which I think is very important too.
